Who are we:
Bloom& Rise, is a nonprofit organization founded by women w/ children; for woman with children in the initial stages of leaving an abusive dynamic.
Why:
Bloom& Rise was created due to the increase of domestic violence cases that were shown after America’s pandemic. The stats shown that there had been an alarming increase in domestic violence cases across America in the last 5 years.
B & R has a strong desire to create a safe space for women and children to show that there is life after you decide to leave. With the proper support and planning these women can thrive after DV.

What we do:
Bloom& Rise; understands the physical, psychological and financial struggles of starting on a new journey after abuse. Our team will start with a customized game plan of how to leave, a game plan on how to heal the mind as the emotional scars are one of the hardest wounds to heal, get support regarding financial planning. Bloom & Rise believes that with the proper support women will have the strength to not only leaves very bad situation; but also lower the chance of returning to their abuser. We believe offering advocacy through each step can encourage women to never turn back to their abusers and live a healthy prosperous life.

Financial abuse, a pervasive form of domestic abuse, plays a significant role in this dynamic. It occurs in 99% of domestic violence cases and is often the primary reason victims stay or return.
We are a New Jersey non profit organization. We work in all areas suburbs, cities, rural areas. Anyone who needs help there we will work to find shelter.

About 41% of women (4 out of 10) experienced sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner and reported an intimate partner violence-related impact during their lifetime.
This is where B&R comes in, each person will have a volunteer who is assigned to their case. Due to each case being unique, each situation will be customized based on the women’s needs. This advocate will be with the victim for 6-12 months to assist on their journey to independence; to assure the victim, and or her children, have support.
Although it was stressful time DV since then has not dropped it has actually increased in the last 10 years. Our goal is to assure that women and children are not only offered education, financial, help, but a course of action on how to continue in a new path after advocacy is complete. This organization gears towards advocacy, shelter, personal development, and positive mindshift, and a clear plan of action during and 6 months after one complete the program.
Roughly one in three women and one in four men have experienced physical violence from an intimate partner. Each year, nearly 10 million people become victims of domestic violence.
B&R works with women helps her first no matter what economic status is is undocumented high school diploma, college, educated or business professional we understand not domestic violence has no true face and want to not only educate them, but also well, more people to be educated on what exactly abuse may look like in all it’s many forms.
